About
I fell in love with the power of storytelling as a young boy in Louisiana.
There was magic in how television shows and movies could take me on an emotional roller coaster through worlds far different from my own, and I was eager to learn how to create that magic as quickly as I could.
I taught myself every trick imaginable with our VHS camcorder long before YouTube tutorials were ever envisioned. At age twelve, I began making solo trips to the local community theatre, where the acting bug bit, and I spent most of my life studying, training, and working as a professional actor.
Over time, my interests led me to creative pursuits across the broad expanse of the storytelling landscape. From visual art and graphic design to filmmaking and journalism, I have built a career at the intersection of art and commerce, where the success of each venture hinges on the strength of the narrative you convey.
I have learned that a well-told story has the power to foster empathy and bridge even the widest divide. My mission is to keep perfecting my craft and seeking innovative ways to build those bridges.
I founded Due South Media to make work that respects the audience and the people at the center of the story. After decades in acting, writing, and production, I wanted a home to create films, podcasts, and digital work that values craft, clarity, and emotional truth.
